Who we are
Mak Nuk Village is a hotel at Calle 7 Sur, Manzana 57, Lote 1, La Veleta, 77760 Tulum, Q.R., México. We are responsible for the personal data described on this page. To reach us about your data, use the contact page or call +52 998 291 1704.
What we collect
Contact form: your name, email, stay dates, number of guests and your message.
Reservation requests: the same details, the suite you prefer, and anything you tell us about who you represent.
Mira, our AI chat: everything you write in the chat, and the request Mira sends to our team.
Chat limit: a scrambled code made from your internet address, not the address itself. It limits how many chats one address can start each day.
La Consentida orders: these open WhatsApp on your device. Your order goes through WhatsApp, under its own privacy terms.
Why we use it
We use your data to answer you and to prepare, quote and confirm your stay. We also use it to keep the site safe and stop abuse.
AI tools help our team read and sort requests, and write a short internal note about each one. Our team makes every decision.
We do not sell your personal data.
Who helps us
These companies handle data for us: Supabase (database and staff sign-in), Vercel (website hosting and visit counts), Cloudflare (photos and video) and Anthropic (the AI behind Mira and our staff tools). Google provides the Find Us map, only if you accept it.
Some of these companies work outside Mexico, so your data can travel to other countries.
Cookies
The public site sets no tracking cookies. It keeps your cookie choice in your browser. Staff who sign in get a cookie that keeps them signed in.
We count visits without cookies and without identifying you. If you choose Essential only, we stop counting your visits.
The Google map sets cookies from Google, so it loads only if you accept. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change your choice.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and chats while we need them to answer you and handle your stay, or until you ask us to delete them. The law can require us to keep some records longer. When our team deletes a message, it is erased for good after 7 days.
Your rights
Under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, you can ask to access, correct or cancel your data, or object to its use (ARCO rights). You can also withdraw your consent. Use the contact page or call +52 998 291 1704. We answer within the time the law sets.
Changes
When this policy changes, we publish the new version here and change the date at the top.
